Open to Remote | Relocation possible for exceptional opportunities

Making complex things work better for people.

I’m a product manager with 10+ years leading digital platforms across media and higher education. I bring structure to ambiguous problems, build alongside technical teams, and focus on outcomes people can feel.

About

I build structure around
what matters.

I started on the technical side, building web platforms for city and state government. That grounding taught me how systems actually get built and how choices affect the people using them.

At Eastern Kentucky University, I took ownership of a sprawling digital ecosystem and built the governance, team, and publishing practices it needed. At Scripps, I led consumer product work across entertainment and local news platforms.

America 250 Platform

Challenge
Launch America 250 across 60+ affiliate stations when existing templates lacked calendar listings and dedicated sponsor-image placements.
Action
Led delivery of landing pages, calendar listings, and static sponsor-image placements. Defined requirements and coordinated with development, editorial, and sales, including integration of an AI event-discovery tool developed by our AI lead.
Result
The initiative contributed nearly $2M in incremental sponsor revenue.
Learning
A scalable launch needs to serve audiences, editorial teams and sales—not just deliver a page.

Entertainment Network Redesign

Entertainment Network Redesign

Challenge
Consolidated five separate entertainment sites (ION, ION Plus, Grit, Grit Xtra, and Laff) onto one CMS and used audience data to prioritize the redesign.
Action
Led consolidation onto one CMS and used audience data to prioritize a shared redesign.
Result
Redesigned ION sites saw 28% year-over-year traffic growth.
Learning
Reducing technical debt creates capacity for better product work. Consolidating fragmented platforms reduces duplicate maintenance and helps teams deliver improvements more efficiently

EKU Digital Governance

Scripps · Governance / CMS

EKU Digital Governance

Challenge
A university web ecosystem lacked clear ownership and consistent standards across 50+ departments.
Action
Identified the governance gap and independently initiated, authored, and championed a university-wide web governance policy through adoption. Established ownership and publishing standards across 50+ departments, alongside platform and team improvements.
Result
Result: Secured adoption of university-wide web governance, leading to significant investment in EKU’s digital properties—including a new CMS and growth of the web team from one to eight people.
Learning
Product leadership includes recognizing organizational problems before they become formal requests—and building the support needed to solve them.

Band Booster Transformation

Challenge
A volunteer-run organization serving 200+ families relied on fragmented tools and knowledge held by individual boosters. Frequent turnover meant lost context, repeated setup work, and difficult handoffs.
Action
Selected low- or no-cost tools with ease of use and long-term maintainability in mind. Modernized the website, communications, and financial workflows, prioritizing shared access and organizational knowledge over dependence on individual volunteers.
Result
Replaced fragmented core processes with shared systems for communications and financial operations. Work to improve knowledge retention and simplify transitions remains ongoing.
Learning
Knowing customers means designing for their constraints. For busy volunteers, low cost and ease of use matter more than feature breadth—and help systems remain useful as people change roles.
Beyond the job

A little more about me.

01 / HOME

Based in Richmond, Kentucky.

My family and community keep me grounded. I’m open to remote roles, hybrid or on-site opportunities in Central Kentucky, and relocation for an exceptional fit.

02 / COMMUNITY

Band dad. They’re all my kids.

I coordinate volunteers and fundraising for a band program with more than 200 students. It’s about showing up for kids in support of what they love.

03 / CURIOSITY

Still learning.

I’m curious about how things work—and how they could work better. Lately, that means exploring AI and building practical tools to test what it can actually do.

Say hello

Let’s find the next meaningful problem to solve.

I’m open to conversations about product, strategy, and teams building something useful for people.
